So the Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire event is coming to a close soon. It’s been really fun getting a taste of what is to come with the new expansion. I’ll be putting out some videos over the next few days. Thanks to all the players, commanders, and mentors I got to play alongside for the demo. You were all awesome, friendly people.
For now here are a couple of caps.
My demo characters are Beta Fireshadow, a human thief, and Beta Crisium, a charr ranger.
The demo weekend has been quite enjoyable so far, lots to do without feeling overwhelmed and lots of fun with random players.
Looks like my first 2-3 videos will be about Raptor mounts and the rest will cover different things I found of interest, some general play and some group events. I’m trying to avoid revealing plot spoilers as much as possible.
An amusing little glitch that showed up in EotM for my charr ranger, Rana Embertail.
Many don’t seem to like the Golem Event but I do. Perhaps, not as a regular thing mind you, but fun still. I hadn’t planned on spending much time on Guild Wars 2 tonight as I mainly just wanted to see if I was going to be stuck as Badlands for another week in EotM (Yup, proceed with forehead meeting desk).
So this guy started popping out golems saying he wanted everyone in one. Sure, why not? Something novel to do in the usual, somewhat predictable Mists. It’s kind of like when a Koda Run (KodaLife!) occurs, you do it because it’s different and can break up the monotony.
A couple of pics from our romp across EotM.
I did have a glitch and got booted from my first golem at one point, but our “Alpha” quickly made another available. Sadly, after fifteen to twenty minutes the Golem Squad was done having worked our way through OG and FR with our final stop at the Forge.
